ReconLog ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
ReconLog is a research and educational tool for tracking protocols and calculations. It is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide medical advice.
Information We Collect
- Local Data Only: All data you enter into ReconLog (protocols, dose logs, weight entries, calculations) is stored locally on your device. We do NOT collect, transmit, or store your personal health information on external servers.
- No Account Required: ReconLog does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use the app.
- No Analytics: We do not use third-party analytics services that track your behavior within the app.
Data Storage
All your data is stored locally on your device using Apple's secure data storage mechanisms. Your data remains on your device and is not accessible to us or any third parties.
If you delete the app, all locally stored data will be permanently deleted.
Data Sharing
Protocol Sharing: The app allows you to share protocol configurations via links. When you share a protocol, only the protocol settings (not your personal dose history) are encoded in the shareable link. You control when and with whom you share this information.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to third parties.
Notifications
ReconLog may send local notifications to remind you of scheduled protocols. These notifications are processed entirely on your device and no notification data is sent to external servers.
You can disable notifications at any time through your device's Settings.
Camera and Photo Library
ReconLog may request access to your camera or photo library to scan and import reference text. Images are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded or stored by us.
Children's Privacy
ReconLog is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. By using this app, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
